When we think about the laws, regulations and policies that are in place to reduce pollution and protect the Lake Champlain watershed, water pollution laws usually come to mind. While federal and state water pollution laws are very important, there are many different kinds of environmental laws that complement them and are key to safeguarding waterways. University of Vermont lecturer Jody Prescott will talk about some of these other laws, primarily from the federal level.
