April 15, 2017 - Colchester April Stools' Day Clean Up

Help scoop the poop! Meet for "doo-ty" in the main parking area (there will be signs directing volunteers). Pet poop that's not picked up sends nutrients and bacteria into our waterways. Join a community effort to clean up parks, sidewalks and trails to protect our waters.

Gloves, bags, pails and hand sanitizer will be provided. Participants will receive a package of lake note cards (while supplies last). The person who collects the most dog doo will have a chance to win a gift certificate from Wally's Place - Bagel and Deli in South Hero or comfy, durable Darn Tough Socks! Everyone will be entered into a drawing for cash prizes of $25, $50 and $100, the drawing will be done in mid-May after all our poo pick-up events are held.
